Untouchable

She looked in the mirror
In the gleam of the glass
In the faces of her terror
Of the darkness of her past
And she closed her eyes
Where she dreamt of paradise
Of a thousand stars shining so high
Of raindrops falling where she lie
She searched the sky for peacefulness
And the clouds offer her tenderness
In her mind the mountain looms protectiveness
In her mind the wind blows like a caress
A place where no one can touch her now
A place where no one can make her bow

Taking its Toll

There're such memories that are forever etched,
Such memories that time just not forget,
His smiles his laughter and his loving caress,
His cologne his presence and even his blush when he's embarrassed. . .

There's such pain that cuts into your heart,
Such pain that tears your life apart,
A lingering emptiness throughout your soul,
Like a resonating echo taking its toll. . .

Fade

There was once a love like no other,
A love that changed a person for the better,
The strides were bouncier the smiles wider,
The laughter was merrier the eyes shinier..

She thought she had the world at her feet,
Oh happiness and joy that came in leaps,
She thought that love was all it takes,
Guess she never thought that love could fade...

I Wonder

I wonder where you are today,
Or what you did for dinner yesterday,
I wonder if you gonna be busy all day,
Whether you have time to be away;

I wonder why I am still wondering,
When you made it clear that there's no more feelings,
I wonder what is it that I am missing,
When the things between us used to be so heartbreaking;

I wonder when did love become a task,
When did we start drifting apart?
Was it when we never bother to ask,
Why were we always hurting each other's heart;

I wonder if I'd been better had I never met you,
If the clouds would be whiter the skies blue,
I wonder if I'd be happier years later,
If time will really heal or it's just another rumour,
I wonder if I'd be with someone new,
Or would I still be wondering about you...
